Frequently Asked Questions
Use the search bar to input a URL or Username for an online profile. We are in the process of onboarding all of the most popular informal marketplaces that you might use to transact with other users, such as Facebook, Instagram & Twitter/X accounts. If you don’t see your preferred services supported at launch, please rest assured that we are working hard to get them added to our review engine as soon as possible.

RepCheck Pro allows you access to detailed profile information such as historical transactional analysis/reviews. RepCheck Pro is an unlimited use service – ideal if you are a high volume trader with multiple unknown counterparties.
Information available in RepCheck Pro relates to relevant buyer & seller metrics such as delivery times, quality of items/services provided (e.g. was the item as described) & quality of communication.
Some profile claims are automatic for various service providers (Instagram, Google, Twitter). All you have to do is go to your “My Account” page and link the respective social media account to your RepCheck account. All profiles and reviews that match your social media accounts will be automatically claimed.
At present, due to limitations with Facebook integrations, we have to request additional information (e.g. URLs & screenshots) to be able to claim a Facebook profile. We hope this will change to be more automated in the near future.
We do not provide unregistered access to RepCheck Lite’s functionality in order to prevent malicious abuse, such as flagging accounts suspicious of trying to artificially inflate a profile’s score or those accounts that are falsely claiming fraudulent activity from other members.
Yes, if you have claimed a profile that has a review that you consider to be artificial, you can contact us through our support ticketing system and expose your case.
Yes, you can delete your RepCheck account and personal data, in accordance with the GDPR. You can either request this through our support ticketing system or by emailing us at support@repcheck.co.uk with the email subject “Account Deletion Request”. Please note that any reviews against any of your social media accounts will remain active/valid and viewable by other members of the service.
No. RepCheck provides a way to review independent user submissions related to previous transactional behaviour only. We provide no guarantees about the future transactional conduct of any user, irrespective of their current user rating on our service.
