About Us

Behind RepCheck is a couple of friends who want to make a difference to the vast sums of money lost to online fraud. 

We are very active in online buying & selling communities and regularly see fraudsters scamming victims without recourse. Each time we see this happen – we wonder why nobody is doing anything about it. 

We created RepCheck to try and make a difference; to improve the transparency in online peer-to-peer transactions and help to level the playing field against fraudulent participants in our communities. It’s as simple as that.

We want to empower buyers and sellers to make better informed decisions about who they transact with, by providing impartial information about their potential counterparty’s previous online trading behaviour.
